Anyone can register for free on the Lingonperry platform, and there is no need to link a payment method to the account. Artists can also share their music for free on the platform. In this blog, we'll show you how to get the most out of Lingonperry by paying a monthly fee of €5.

Lingonperry offers both listeners and artists the opportunity to support new music creators with their own listening according to the User Centric Royalty model. The royalties are distributed to the artists from the user's Credit account. You can read more in our UCR blog.

For this purpose, listening to music on the Lingonperry platform consumes 16 Credits per day, which means a total of 496 Credits in a 31 day month. By paying a monthly fee of €5, you will have access to 500 Credits. This monthly fee ensures uninterrupted service for the whole month.

Listeners:

As a listener, you can buy as many Credits as you want as a one-off purchase, or subscribe for €5 a month. For a monthly fee you get 500 Credits, which you can use in a variety of ways on the platform.

• Support for the artist through listening: Every time you listen to music on Lingonperry, your credits go directly to the artist whose music you are listening to. This makes your listening meaningful, as you are directly supporting your favourite artists just by listening.
• Tipping: You can buy more Credits and use them for tipping, providing direct financial support to the artist. Tipping is quick and easy from the artist's profile, and the full amount goes directly to the artist.

When you run out of Credits, your music player will stop working, so a paid account will ensure that you can enjoy listening to music without interruption. Plus, every time you listen, you're directly supporting your favorite artists.

Artists:

By default, the use of Lingonperry is free of charge for artists. In addition, we offer artists additional benefits for a monthly fee of €5.

• With a free account: You can upload music to Lingonperry and earn royalties from users listening to it on Lingonperry. Without a paid subscription, the music player will stop working, but the music will remain on the platform for users to listen to. If you have published music through DistroDirect, the music will still be available on other streaming platforms, but you will not receive royalty payments until you reactivate your subscription.
• By paying €5 a month: You activate an Artist+ -account and get the full benefit of the Lingonperry platform. You can also publish your music via DistroDirect, where you will receive royalties for all your listens on both Lingonperry and other streaming platforms. This expands your ability to reach new listeners and increase your revenue from multiple sources. You can also listen to other artists' music.

When you sign up on the platform, you get the benefits of a paid account free of charge for the first month. After that, the music player will stop working and you will not earn royalties from the releases you publish on other streaming platforms via DistroDirect.

• Collect supporters and make your account free: if you collect at least 10 supporters, your Artist account will be upgraded to Artist+ for free. Your supporters can sign up as your supporters via your artist page, and once you reach this limit, you can take advantage of the benefits of an Artist+ Artist+ account without a monthly fee.
